This year for Sunny’s 5th birthday we planned a trip to the most magical place on Earth, Disney World. It was Sunny, Tyler, Andi, Aidan, Mom, & myself. We decided to go up for the night so we stayed at the Art of Animation Resort. It was my first time staying there and I loved it! The rooms were themed (we were in a Lion King room), it has an awesome pool, a nice cafeteria type restaurant, and great ambiance. There is just something so wonderful about the Disney hotels! The first day there we went to the Magic Kingdom, of course. We planned out our day by picking times for rides beforehand but somehow my mom was able to sweet talk her way into 3 other rides we hadn’t planned ahead for. That saved us HOURS of waiting in line. It was awesome! For lunch we left the park and took the monorail to the Cinderella character meal at 1900 Park Fare which is in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Sunny loved it! From there we went back to the park, rode some more rides, and then watched the fireworks show. By the end of the day we were exhausted, I thought my feet were going to fall off.
The next day we decided to hang by the pool at the hotel, have a few fruity drinks, and then headed over to Disney Springs to go to Rainforest Cafe. I love that place! We walked around for a while and then headed back home. It was a wonderful birthday for my favorite girl!
