I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, I know we sure did! Christmas Eve we all went to my dad’s house for a great meal, some presents, and a few games of Left, Right, Center. Playing LRC has become a Christmas Eve tradition, unfortunately neither Luke nor I won this year. My dad got me one of my favorite presents this year, my Apple watch! I am such a techie dork. I was a slacker and took two pictures, a Snapchat selfie and a picture of us playing LRC. I need to get back to taking more pictures!
Christmas Day Luke and I got up, had some coffee, opened presents, and drank some coquito (of course!) We had already given each other our “big” gifts (an awesome photo printer for me and concert tickets to Rock on the Range for him) but we still had quite a few nice ones to give each other.
After that we headed over to my mom’s house for some mimosas, grub, presents, and a fun game. She always does an amazing job decorating so all the pictures you see are of her house. She also made the Very Merry Ornamentini drink that I had featured earlier this month on my Friday Favorites post. It was so, so pretty but boy was it STRONG! Everyone was trying to dilute the alcohol with water and orange juice, ha! Last year we played the saran wrap ball game and this year we played the oven mitt game. You can find the rules by clicking here. Boy was it hilarious! If you want to watch the video of the madness you can click here. As always the food was delicious, the company was great, and we got lots of fun goodies. Again I didn’t take enough pictures but sometimes it is hard when you are having so much fun enjoying everyone’s company. Overall we had an amazing Christmas! I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for us 🙂
